The aftermath of Gunna after being released from jail

The Aftermath Of Gunna After Being Released From Jail.

Gunna in 2021

American rapper Sergio "Gunna" Kitchens was released from jail on December 11 2022 after pleading guilty through an "Alfred Plea" deal leaving Jeffrey "Young Thug" Williams and other members of the YSL under custody in the court.

He, Young Thug and other members of the YSL were arrested on the 10th of May 2022 for RICO charges in Atlanta, Georgia.

Gunna was about to serve 5 years imprisonment until he pleaded guilty. The court removed 4 years for his service and instead to serve 1 year in prison, the court gave him 1 year of community service due to his honest confession in court although he's defending his innocence.

He is now free but his aftermath wasn't starting with a good result. Many were calling him a "snitch" by agreeing in the court that YSL is a gang which he knows it isn't. On this page, I'm going to show you what happened to him after being released from jail.

1: Being criticized by his fans.

The fans of Gunna weren't happy with the rapper by his action in court. This causes a lot of ranting on social media and abuses. After the release of Gunna, some rappers went to Instagram and use the picture of Young Thug as their Display Pictures and wrote #freejeffery in their bio and YSL changed their Hashtag #freeysl to #freejeffery

It is also reported that Gunna even lost followers after the incident.

2: Being unfollowed by rappers.

Gunna got unfollowed on Instagram by his closest rapper and friend Lil Baby due to his "Snitching" allegations. This was Lil Baby's move to show that what Gunna did to the YSL in the court was a break of trust and a sign of fake loyalty to the label.

Meek Mill also joined Lil Baby to unfollow Gunna on IG.

Meek Mill has been working with Gunna as well following him on Instagram. He even went posting on Twitter for his release while he was still in jail but after his plea from the court, Meek Mill unfollowed Gunna but there is no reaction yet from the Philadelphian rapper.

3: Being dissed by Lil Durk.

Lil Durk released a snippet of his new song earlier this month and the song seriously threw shade on Gunna. On the lines, he said: "What happened to Virgil he probably gonna tell". In March 2022 Lil Durk and Gunna collaborated on a song called "What happened to Virgil" to show tribute to the deceased Louis Vuitton designer Virgil Abloh so Durk used that line to refer the last work he had with a "snitch" and on the second half of the line "probably gonna tell" refers when Gunna was having his plea in court.

4: Being criticized by 6ix9ine.

Tekashi 6ix9ine has been criticizing Gunna after his plea in court through the media and various podcasts. 6ix9ine was imprisoned in 2019 for snitching allegations but released in 2020 on parole because of the pandemic. After his release, he was facing controversy from fans and other rappers.

But 6ix9ine broke the silence on social media and podcasts to show that Gunna is also a snitch and a rat just like people thought 6ix9ine is.

The reason why 6ix9ine snitched on his gang members is that they were doing bad things to him but YSL did a lot of good things for him by making him one of the most successful rappers in the US.

But you what do you think about Gunna?
