This is what happened on Saturday's election & the suspected rigging of votes by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The 2023 Nigerian elections on Saturday were not as smooth as it was in the other election years. There were several attacks, ballot box snatching, and threats to innocent voters in the polling unit by the area hoodlums that they should vote for their preferred leaders.
In Lagos state, there were attacks and threats by area hoodlums to make the voters choose All Progressive Congress's Bola Tinubu and nobody else but they didn't agree and the hoodlums destroyed the ballots, pursued and attacked the innocent voters.
When founding out that Labour Party's Peter Obi was winning a poll in Mushin in Lagos, hoodlums destroyed and threw the ballots inside a Gutter.
Some INEC Officials came late to their Polling Units and even some were unable to come due to some system issues. In Rivers state, voters were not allowed to vote for Labour Party and there are some even chose who will enter the Polling Unit.
Some corrupt INEC officials distributed ballot papers without the Labour Party logo on them, it transpired in states like Lagos, Rivers and some states in the Niger Delta region in the nation.
