Life of Young Thug after 10 months in prison

Young Thug's life during his jail service.

Jeffery Lamar Williams also known as "Young Thug" was arrested on May 10th 2022 for RICO charges and violent activities by the members of his label YSL, believing that he was leading them on the activities. He and the other 28 members is under the custody of the Atlanta police for almost 10 months now and things changed for him all this period he was in jail.

Young Thug is an inspirational Trap rapper that motivated Modern trap rappers today, he inspired them and took them to be where they are today. He also inspired and signed rapper Lil Keed who died in the same month that he was arrested last year. Young Thug helped a lot of rappers to move forward and also contributed to the rap image today. The cause of his arrest is because of his Lyrics. On his lyrics, he was talking about what is happening on the streets in the United States of America as every other rapper says on his lyrics, how the black people survives and how the crime rate is increasing, how racism is increasing, how rappers are making their money and how they didn't give up.

Since his debut in 2010 in the rap industry, Young Thug always talks about the things that are happening in the streets. It doesn't mean that he's a gangster, YSL is just a music label he created, before that, he was on the label of Gucci Mane 1014 Records and 300 Entertainment before he left and founded YSL in 2016 with Yak Gotti and Duke and Gunna being the first members in the label.

Young Thug did not start his childhood as a gangster. He didn't even see the four walls of prison hence he wasn't an ex-convict. He came from a poor family living in the dangerous streets of Atlanta, and that's where he started rapping in 2010. Growing up in the most one of the most dangerous streets in Atlanta, Young Thug Witness it and put it down in lyrics but in most of his lyrics he doesn't only talk about what is happening in the streets, he often talks about drugs, sex, money, luxury, telling young men not to snitch on nobody and not to betray their fellow homies. This is common lyrics gangster rappers and non-gangster rappers use in Atlanta.

YSL member Gunna, was released from jail last year December after doing the Alfred pledge he made in court. A lot of people were happy for Gunna being released from Jail while some were very angry because he snitched on his boss who made him to become successful. Many people dropped hate comments and diss tracks but according to some reports is that he did not snitch on his boss.

But Gunna indeed lost his Trust in his fellow rappers and Friends after what he did in the court but Gunna did not reply yet about it, but still Young Thug is in jail among other members of the YSL. Rappers like Lil Baby and Meek Mill has unfollowed Him on Instagram and Lil Durk dissed him in a track he hasn't released yet.

Today on this special page, I'll not only explain everything but will show you what Young Thug learned in jail

1: Learnt that even his opponents cannot snitch, But his friends can.

Atlanta Rapper and Young Thug's long-time opponent YFN Lucci was called to the court to ask if he is a witness of Young Thug's racketeering activities. On the court, he said no and that he doesn't know about it despite his accusations towards Young Thug of killing his Mother. But his fellow label and his right-hand member Gunna did an Alfred Plea Deal: a plea to tell the court that you are guilty although knowing that the person is innocent. And agreeing with the court that YSL is a gang, not a label with him knowing that YSL is a label. Now he is free with one year of community service while Young Thug is still under the custody of the court.

2. He was still featured on other rappers' tracks.

Young Thug is still being featured in some songs and he was still giving his verses to other rappers. He first got featured on Calvin Harris's "Potion" before this arrest and he was in albums like Lil Baby's "It is only me", and Metro Boomin''s "Heroes and Villans" amongst others.

3. He also helped in producing albums and also still running his label while in prison.

Even though Young Thug and some of the YSL members are under custody of the law, he is still running the label with rappers like Duke and Bslime running it and selling their recordings. Things are not light with the label following YT's arrest and the death of Lil Keed last year but they still moved the label forward despite everything that happened.

Moreover, Young Thug contributed to the creation of other rappers' albums in 2022 which are "I NEVER LIKED YOU", "Ds4ever", "Heroes and Villans" "It is only me" etc.

4. His physique also changed.

He also changed his physical looks, he added weight and looks more muscular than skinny looks that he was. He was caught when his sister posted his picture on Instagram when they both were having a video call she screenshots of it and posted it on stories and captioned it with a heart emoji.

Another photo that was trending was the one above when he is sitting down in a chair where he looked healthier and like someone who didn't go to jail for 10 months.
