Thiago Silva and Didier Drogba criticized Todd Boehly after yesterday's UEFA Champions League loss.
The former player and the football legend of Chelsea Football Club Didier Drogba criticises Todd Boehly for his bad management of the club. He said in an interview saying that "Chelsea lacks Class".
"I knew this club with a certain class during the Abramovich era but today I find it lacking".
"It is very hard for me to see how they got rid of certain people they should go back to the principles and values they had, I no longer recognize my club".
Chelsea went in a different direction since the departure of the Roman Abramovich era due to the sanctions against him by the UK Government due to the war in Russia-Ukraine in 2022. Chelsea has lost their last four matches including with Real Madrid.
Real Madrid won Chelsea both at their home and Chelsea home with 2 Goals each and yesterday's match, Chelsea had more possession and energy than Real Madrid but Frank Lampard used a defensive formation that made it the players difficult to score goals and it made it easy for the 22-year old Rodrygo to score his two goals yesterday.
Chelsea going out of the Champions League and unlikely to be qualified for the next season had made their fans and other fans from different teams make fun of Chelsea but they remain confident.
It is also reported that in an Aftermatch interview with Lampard he said that in every match that Chelsea has, Todd Boehly goes to the dressing room to give the players some advice about the match. He even went to the dressing room in this last match literally to show his disappointment with today's match
Thiago Silva broke out of his silence after yesterday's match,
The 38-year-old legend explained that the only way Chelsea can be moving forward is to stop purchasing players and use the ones that they have and also to put more strategy with the players.
Silva won the Champions League and the FIFA Clubs World Cup on his debut with Chelsea in the 2020/2021 season. Being the most disciplined player in the club, He was not happy with the losses that they had and he needed to speak out about the matter.
Five points of view where Chelsea can apply in other they move forward in the league and other competitions
But in my point of view, the only way Chelsea could move forward is by putting on more effort into their games. With more effort and more good experience, Chelsea will likely finish this season in the 5th or 6th position if they put in more effort just like they did in that yesterday's match with Real Madrid, and apply more speed and determination in their games cause Chelsea has lot of talented players from Joao Felix down to Thiago Silva down to Enzo Fernandez. If Chelsea put effort into their games and as well determination we will move forward.
In my second point of view for Chelsea to move forward and also finish in the big six this season, is for they have to put in good formation tactics just for example, 4-3-3, 4-4-2, 4-3-2-1 or any formation related above for them to keep moving and ending in the best position in the league as they are very close to going to the relegation line in the table.
Thirdly, is for them to divide their players into two different sets. For example by putting 11 players that have good potential in one set and putting 11 players with little or less potential in another set and mixing both of them when they're playing with a team that is partly tough and partly weak. Using high-potential players when they're facing a tough Club and using a low-potential player with two or three high-potential players in the starting 11 to face weaker clubs. This is what other clubs like Barcelona and Real Madrid use when playing the matches. It makes the Club move better and it makes players even more potential, motivating and confident on the field
Fourthly, is for the coach to not bench a high-quality player in starting 11. A high-quality player is meant to be on the starting 11 so that the game will be easier for the club. Most high-quality clubs use at least three high-quality players mixed with low-potential players while playing a weaker Club or an average Club because those high-quality players motivate the less potential players to play more and do even give them work on the field. It makes them more active and less sluggish and it can make the team succeed in these matches. A high-quality team uses those high-quality players so that they will motivate the younger players or players that do not have the full potential like them. You have to make all of them to be the next replica of quality players.
The Fifth point of view is having a training strategy, for the team to move forward is for the coach to have a personal technique while training his players. Like a good technique that the coach can use to teach his players so that he can see the succession in every match. For the coach to get that technique, is for him to check the abilities of his players that is velocity, stamina, pressure Etc. Secondly to study all the successful clubs on how they use their technique, how they use tactics, how they use their potential players, and how their manager commands them. Third is to know how to start up a starting 11 in every match as I said above and lastly by motivating their players not to give up and stand firm no matter what, no matter what they are passing through, no matter if they are below the best, no matter what criticism they get for failing, no matter what, they should keep moving and no matter the situation the team is, they should not give up on anything.
