Gunna's return to the music industry.

Gunna's return to the music industry and the new album he launched 6 months after his release.

After being locked up in jail for 7 months and being released after making an Alfred plea and leaving his boss Young Thug in court custody after both being accused of RICO charges whereby they didn't commit, Gunna stayed low-key and did not post anything on social media expect on the day he got released. But it was found that he deleted every post on Instagram but he did not unfollow anyone including his boss Young Thug and other rappers who unfollowed him after he made a plea. On my first post about Gunna that I uploaded on this blog, I did explain about the people who unfollowed Gunna such as Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Meek Mill, Polo G, how Tekashi 6ix9ine roasted him on the first post he released and made it a big deal on podcasts due to people and other rappers who were calling him a rat after telling the court what his gang members did in 2020 after being sentenced to jail in early 2019 for drug trafficking, attempted murder and armed robbery.

During his release he did not partake in any interviews or podcasts or media, he did not disclose any information or anything at all neither he posted anything on his story it was all silent for Gunna's side until midnight on the second of June of this year where he posted a YouTube link on Instagram where it leads to his ever first single he dropped this year named "bread & butter", the cover was a paint of a Crow who is about to land, although it was like a shadow of the bird, the picture itself was dynamic and unique for the cover. The song was written by him and produced by his old time producer Turbo, Omar Grand and Cam Griffin it was the first track he released for the surprise album "a gift and a curse".

On the track, Gunna talks about his plea in the YSL case defending his innocence and also throwing shade on Lil Baby, Lil Durk, and Pierre "P" Thomas the founder of Quality Control Music where Lil Baby is signed. He first throws shade at Lil Baby and Pierre P Thomas with this lyrics "You switched on me when you know you in business with a rat, and the boy that's like your brother ain't nobody speak on that", he was referring to Lil Baby working with the main snitch the CEO of QC records who told the police in May 2010 that his close friend killed a man instead to cover up for him, Secondly on Lil Durk where on the lyrics he says, "Heard these n***as talkin' only knew 'em cause of slatt, these rap boys need more streams, heard he put name on wax" referring to the snippet diss track he released on January and his interview he had with DJ Akademis a week before the release of the track saying that he is a real rat and that he loves Young Thug.

Gunna's truth about his innocence.

On the lines of "bread & butter", Gunna said:

"I paid the lawyers all those mills for?

Just so I won't have to say a word to dodge a railroad

Niggas find it hard to understand, though

Dawg ain't put me down, I have been locked down, and I don't know which way to go

Never gave any statement or agree to take no stand on 'em

On whatever you niggas on and trust me, I'ma stand on it

Lawyers and the DA did some sneaky shit, I fell for it

On my Ps and Qs because this time, I will be prepared for it, yeah,"

On those lines, he meant that during his time in jail, the lawyers and the DA convinced Gunna to do an Alfred Plea Deal with the court to save himself and Young Thug but he was deceived and got the bail for only himself. He could not go back at this stage and got free. The lawyers and the DA made Gunna lie in the court that whatever happened is true but Gunna was innocent, this was a sneaky thing that the DA did to Gunna and now Gunna has to pay the price.

Now everybody sees Gunna as a Rat although he is being innocent but we will never know the truth unless Young Thug gets released from jail and tell the world whether Gunna said in those lines above is true or if it is just another lie or clout.

Also, Young Thug announced on his Instagram page that there is a project he will release. We don't know whether it is a single or an album but we will be ready to find out in a few days coming. The name of the project is "Business is Business". This announcement has excited a lot of his fans and supporters who are ready for this release and his voice since he has been in jail for one year and a month.

But we will still investigate Gunna and I'll inform you all in the future.
